About Us

The Crown King Depot goes way back to the early 1900's, but the Burke's story starts in the 1970's when we started coming up as teens.  We bought our cabin in 1997, and promptly embraced the community through serving on the Crown King Fire Department and promoting local fund raising events.  Along the way, we purchasesd a burnt out cabin on Main Street in 2002, were granted commercial zoning, and 20 years later, we are recreating the train depot at the original site of the Crown King Train Depot. There have been lots of obstacles; (the Pandemic and Winter 2022-23), but lots of perserverance, support of good friends, and our belief in the community of Crown King are seeing it through!
